On the first of January, Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner was involved in an unfortunate accident and was injured very badly. He was admitted to the nearest hospital almost immediately after receiving some first-aid. Currently, he is in the comfort of his home getting better as each day passes by. Ant-Man star Evangeline Lilly, a renowned actress who plays the character of Hope Pym recently revealed that she visited Marvel co-star Jeremy Renner at his home to check up on him and provide him comfort for all the pain he had to go through after his accident.

Evangeline Lilly Recently Checked Up on Jeremy Renner
Evangeline Lilly shared that she recently visited her old friend and co-star Jeremy Renner at his home and was completely shocked by his appearance. Lilly thought that Jeremy Renner would be writhing in pain on his bed as he had multiple broken bones and had to undergo a couple of operations. Evangeline Lilly revealed that when she visited his house the other night, Lilly was star-struck when she saw him roaming around in his wheelchair. She also shared that his spirit was at an all-time high as is recovering very quickly.

“He has recovered like a mo-fo, I walked in his house and got chicken skin, ’cause I was like, ‘Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What’s happening?’ I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn’t able to move. He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends. It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle.”
“He’s made of something really tough, that guy, and you’ve always been able to see that in him. He had a near-death experience that was highly traumatic, and he was awake for the whole thing. It really has stuck with me. He’s got a journey to go through now. That’s what nightmares are made out of and he lived through it, and he’s on the other side now.”
Lilly added that he has always been that verve kind of guy and formed a strong impression on her from the set of The Hurt Locker as they both starred in the 2008’s war-thriller movie. She also shared that she is very grateful that he is speedily recovering and given that he is very strong-minded, it would be only a matter of time before he gets up on his feet again.
What Near-Death Experience Did Jeremy Renner Experience?
On January 1st, 2023, Jeremy Renner was helping out his family member’s car which got stuck in the heavy snow. Renner had a PistonBully ready for these kinds of situations and took it upon himself to operate it and tow the car stuck in the snow. After he successfully removed the vehicle, he went on to talk to his family member when suddenly that snowplow started rolling down in the snow. In an attempt to stop the machine by hopping back on its driver’s seat, he was run over by the 14,000-pound machine and suffered several injuries.
The Mayor of Kingstown actor was immediately applied first-aid by first responders and was later airlifted to the nearest hospital as he suffered from blunt chest trauma and severe orthopedic injuries. Renner underwent 2 surgeries and has been getting better as each day passes by. Currently, he is in the comfort of his home rehabilitating and getting ready to get back on his feet and get back into the world as everyone awaits this good news.
