Jason Momoa Revealed He Doesn’t Touch Weights In The Gym Until He Is Paid

Despite his imposing physique, the Fast X star has revealed that he is not particularly fond of working out and avoids the gym unless it is for a specific role or project for which he is getting paid. The Aquaman star added that he loves to do other physical activities like surfing and rock climbing to keep himself fit. 

“I haven’t trained since, that’s how awesome it is. Nope, that’s just nothing. I don’t touch a weight unless they’re paying me to do it. I am not doing it. I just climb with my kids. But right now I am working on a show where it’s just not needed and unfortunately, I need to get back in shape because I am just a little off. It hurts. I don’t enjoy lifting weights, I love to do surfing or rock climbing and you know that kind of stuff. I don’t like going to the gym.”

Jason Momoa Believes Yoga Is The Toughest Thing He Has Ever Done

Jason Momoa made it pretty clear that he is not a big fan of intense workouts but it does not mean that the superstar devoid himself of other workout techniques, which includes Yoga. The Game of Thrones star shared that he tried Yoga and as per him, it’s the toughest thing he has ever done. Momoa shared that his body is very tight and recalls being the worst performer in the yoga class of old ladies.

“I tried yoga the other day, and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Climbing El Capitan would be easier than doing two hours of yoga. She doesn’t get it. I can’t bend over anymore! My hamstrings are so tight. My body’s so tight. It’s pathetic. I remember, one time, I was all yoked out for Conan, and I was in a yoga class with these older ladies in Topanga. Everyone was just holding their arms up, and I was like… This is so hard!”
