Many actors set certain rules for themselves while growing in their careers. Samuel L. Jackson has done a great number of movies that have given him the opportunity to explore the lengths of his talent and how much range he actually has. Being a part of some of the biggest movies, he has some say in the scenes he wishes to be a part of those that he does not.
The actor is not someone who usually limits himself when it comes to acting. However, there is one particular thing he would never do in front of a camera. He has his reservations about certain things and by the looks of it, he is going to stick to them. No matter what, the actor is sure of this one decision.
Samuel L. Jackson Has Reservations Towards Appearing Naked On Screen
Samuel L. Jackson can go on screen and swear his heart out. He can do violent movies and he can play both a hero and villain. He can be anything he wants to be when he stands in front of a camera. He is not afraid to show himself and he understands the impact he has on an audience with how big his presence feels.
“Right, I don’t know if it’s formidable enough to… my aura is so big in films, I don’t know if my d**k is big enough to fulfil my aura.”
Despite all of that, he still has his reservations about certain things which he is sure would not change. Many actors have no nudity clauses on their contracts, these allow them to not appear on screen fully exposed. Jackson too is not very comfortable with appearing on screen without any clothes on. He stated that the way he is exposed adds a certain sense of vulnerability which negates the power he otherwise holds when he is in front of the camera.
Samuel L. Jackson Does Not Like Doing Intimate Scenes
Samuel L. Jackson may not appear naked on screen, but he has done two intimate scenes throughout his entire career. He may have done those scenes but he was far from okay with them. Not many are comfortable with s*x scenes, including Jackson.
“You ask, before you start, ‘Where can I touch you? Where shouldn’t I touch you?’ And then you apologise… for both reasons… ‘I’m sorry if I get excited, and I’m sorry if I don’t.’”
He does not like how awkward and uncomfortable the questions get and the scenes as well. That is why he refrains from doing any such scenes and instead sticks to his usual range of acting.
