Moving to a new country can definitely be hard for anyone considering how the demographics and food palate of every country are very different from the other. Tom Holland also experienced something similar after he moved to the USA from Britain to work in different movies. Although the actor has still not acquired American citizenship he still has to remain in the country for prolonged projects and he has quite familiarized himself with American food and people over the years.
In a recent segment of Get a Job, Tom Holland revealed his thoughts about British food being better than American food.

In a recent episode of Get a Job by UNILAD, Tom Holland was interviewed to get himself a job in New York City. The interviewer asked the actor if he still thought that English food is better than American food despite being and working in America for over half a decade. Holland quickly turned the question around and instead asked the interviewer, “What do you classify as American food?”
The interviewer replied, “I immediately think about barbeque so hamburgers.” The Spider-Man: Homecoming actor quickly took this opportunity to educate the interviewer and told him that hamburgers are not actually American food. He said, “Okay hamburger is German, from Hamburg. What else would you consider American food?”
The interviewer’s next answer really stumped Tom Holland and it seemed like he really started questioning himself about doing the interview.
The Uncharted actor is tired of getting potato chips instead of French fries in America
When Tom Holland asked the interviewer about what else he considered American food, the interviewer replied, “French fries” and Tom Holland gave such a priceless reaction that it seemed like he has just given up hope with this. Despite being absolutely stumped, Holland replied, “I feel like I am interviewing you now, I don’t know if I want to work here.”

The interviewer further asked Holland if they are classified as “fries or chips?” The Chaos Walking actor replied that he orders fries now. He said, “I am tired of ordering a German burger with French fries and getting potato chips. It’s exhausting, it’s tough.”
The interviewer went on to ask Tom Holland about his diet since he has to maintain a ripped body for various roles in the movies but the actor replied that he has a terrible diet and he just works out really hard in the gym to maintain his physique for work.
