Subject to constant media attention, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt were one of the most talked about 90s Hollywood couples. Having met in 1994 while filming the movie Seven, Paltrow and Pitt dated for almost two years before parting ways in around 1997. Reportedly, the duo got engaged in December 1996 when Pitt proposed to marry the Iron Man actress. However, within six months of their engagement, the couple called it quits, ending their high-profile relationship. But despite their falling apart in 1997, the two of them still hold a special place in each other’s hearts.

In a recent media tour of her walk-in closet, Gwyneth Paltrow gave fans a glimpse into her impressive collection of archival designer pieces. And while she was at it, a particular item in her closet reminded her of Brad Pitt.

Gwyneth Paltrow reveals the one thing she kept from her date night with Brad Pitt

While showcasing her impressive collection of designer dresses, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she still owns a white floral-embroidered Calvin Klein dress from the time she was dating Brad Pitt in the 1990s. Moreover, she also mentioned wearing the dress to a premiere, specifically the 1996 premiere of The Pallbearer in New York City, where she and Pitt sported matching tiny-framed sunglasses and golden blonde highlights.

While describing the dress, Paltrow said, “I think I wore [it] to a premiere when I was going out with Brad Pitt. It’s giving that very ’90s ‘I don’t give a f—k [attitude].”

In the video tour, Paltrow also showcased other significant items from her career and personal life, including pieces from her own G. Label Goop clothing line. She highlighted a pair of pink Manolo Blahnik bow-tie sandal heels that she wore for her first Oscar win in 1999. The night she was awarded Best Actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love.

Furthermore, the Avengers actress also mentioned that she has kept these items not only for sentimental value but also for her 18-year-old daughter, Apple Martin, to enjoy.

Gwyneth Paltrow admitted to ‘copying’ Brad Pitt’s style

In January 2019, a viral post with pictures of Brad Pitt along with his past lovers, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Angelina Jolie caught the attention of fans. And what was more interesting is Paltrow’s comment on the pictures. Referring to Pitt, Paltrow wrote, “The man who likes to look like his girlfriend.”

However, joking about how Pitt and his lovers always end up ‘matching,’ Paltrow said, ” Or we like to look like him, let’s face it.”
