There have been many celebrities who have shown their interest in taking the chair of the President in the United States of America, such as Kanye West and Dwayne Johnson. While the latter decided to step away from that thought keeping in mind his family, the former had to fall face first in the elections. There have been many actors who have at least spoken about becoming President at least once.
One such case also happens to be that of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Despite years having gone by since the actor had a foot in the political world, he still thinks about one day becoming President if the opportunity were to be presented to him. He in fact thinks of himself as the best candidate for it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Wants To Be President After Dwayne Johnson Stepped Back
Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his liking towards becoming the President of the United States of America even after he stepped down as the Governor of California years ago. He believes that there were two perfect chances for him to step in and win just as easily.
“Put me in because it’s a no brainer. I see so clearly how I could win that that election,” he added.“It’s like me and California. When running for governor, it was clear that people are looking for some new answer, not a right wing or left wing, but someone that can bring the nation together.”
One happened to be in 2016, and one happens to be now. According to him, Schwarzenegger could be the ideal candidate for the people and he could be exactly what the people want. For him, it is not a matter of age or image but of ideologies. While Dwayne Johnson stepped away from even trying for various reasons including his family and him wanting to focus on his daughters, the Terminator actor sees a future in politics once again. This time, as the leader of the nation.
Can Anrold Schwarzenegger Become President?
No matter how much Arnold Schwarzenegger would want to become the President of the United States of America, he cannot. The law states that to become President, a candidate must not only be a resident of the nation but also be born in it. Unfortunately for the actor, Schwarzenegger was born in Austria.
Unless the law is set to change anytime soon, he will not be able to take up the position, let alone run for it. However, knowing the fact that he is interested in becoming the President and more so for the upcoming elections of 2024 has piqued the interest of the fans.
