Since the news of Henry Cavill’s comeback has raised a storm on the internet, speculations of Zack Snyder’s return have also got a significant rise. To be more precise, the fans have found hope in the new Warner Bros. Discovery leadership that it may work on the vision of Zack Snyder which was left incomplete by the old bosses. Looks like that possibility might turn true as recently Snyder sent a cryptic message to The Witcher actor which hints at a similar situation.
Recently, Henry Cavill appeared in a conversation with MTV’s Josh Horowitz where he revealed various exciting details regarding his return as the Kryptonian after so many years. During the interview’s QNA session, a surprise video was sent by Zack Snyder which raised a buzz among the fans.
Can DC bring Zack Snyder back?
Following the whole fuss around the Snyder Cut, DC was not at all having a great time. Accompanying that, was also a toxic atmosphere among the former DC heads who instead of listening to the fans, continued severing ties with the favorites. But looks like the merger of Warner Bros. with Discovery has led to a glorious path ahead for the studio as it continues to impress the fans with its announcements.

As per the recent round of updates, WBD is finally successful in giving DC the same treatment Disney did to Marvel. Similar to MCU, they have also formed the DCU which is going to be helmed by The Suicide Squad fame James Gunn and Peter Safran.
Now if they want, they can revive the SnyderVerse which was started by Zack Snyder with Man of Steel. With the sequel of the Henry Cavill movie already made official, the possibilities for his comeback are wide open. On the other hand, the mysterious message sent by Snyder raised speculations among fans that the studio might have also started their discussion with him.
Zack Snyder’s video clip hints at his comeback
Henry Cavill recently gave an interview to MTV’s Josh Horowitz in a live taping of Horowitz’s Happy, Sad Confused podcast. There the actor revealed how he got a call for his cameo in Black Adam during a shoot for The Witcher. Dwayne Johnson and his Black Adam can be deemed as the main reason for Henry Cavill’s return to the frames of DC. The project was so secret that he couldn’t even reveal the truth to The Witcher team.
During the QNA session, surprisingly the 300 director sent a video clip addressing Cavill about the first time he filmed a flying sequence for Man of Steel. But the video went more interesting at the end when the director concluded with the statement that he can’t wait to work with him soon:
“I can’t wait to work with you again.”
Henry Cavill appreciated the video and replied that those memories mean a lot to him. But the internet was set ablaze as the fans were convinced that the new owners might bring Snyder back. This also creates a chance for them to resume the widely talked about SnyderVerse which met with an early death following the Josstice League fiasco.
While everybody eagerly wants him back, it’s not at all easy. Zack Snyder is presently working on Netflix’s Rebel Moon which is also greenlit for a sequel. Besides, he also working on the Army of the Dead sequel titled Planet of the Dead. So although it is not impossible for him to return to Man of Steel 2, it is also very tough as his Netflix pipeline looks packed up.
