In an interview, the artist candidly admitted that she had no desire to ride the waves of fame only because of her last name. She emphasized that she wanted her success to stem from her own confidence and hard work, rather than being handed to her on a silver platter.

“I felt that pressure, and that people would say, Oh, that’s nepotism. I decided that as long as I felt confident and worked hard for it, instead of having it handed to me.”
