However, surprisingly, things changed for the 40-year-old British actress, when John Krasinski started penning the script for A Quiet Place, keeping Blunt in mind, for the lead role. Thereafter, Emily Blunt read the script and grabbed the opportunity by breaking her own rules out of sheer love for the project.

While Krasinski’s A Quiet Place turned into a blockbuster featuring Emily Blunt, who broke her own rules for the movie; the 43-year-old actor was primarily hesitant and afraid to ask his wife to join the film. The Office actor feared that Blunt might say “yes” out of mere obligation, rather than actual desire.
