“I actually pissed my pants”: Robert Pattinson Reveals Rare 7% Rated Movie Made The Batman Star Call It Masterpiece

Many people around the world have some form of visual media that they consider their guilty pleasure, something that many people would not enjoy other than that one particular individual. While for many, watching Robert Pattinson playing the role of Edward Cullen in the superhit cinematic franchise The Twilight Saga would do the trick, the star has a collection of films that he enjoys in his privacy.

And while most of these films would be those that many other avid cine-goers would love to talk about, there’s one film in particular that might make little to no sense coming from the actor who gives nothing but exceptional performances in his roles. Pattinson once revealed which film it was and how it made him wet himself while watching it.

Known for making some of the most well-received and critically acclaimed films in the Hollywood industry, Robert Pattinson is thought to have exceptional taste when it comes to cinema and the films that it has churned out over the years. And while he does enjoy quite a few of the masterpieces of the industry, the star also has one film in particular that can be called a guilty pleasure, since this film is one of the lowest-rated in the world.

The film he talked about was none other than 2001’s trash comedy Corky Romano, a film with a depressing 7% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. During a Q&A, the Tenet star talked about how despite  the film being sparsely rated, he believes that it is a misunderstood masterpiece. He also recalled a time when he laughed so hard and so much while watching the movie that he couldn’t control himself and wet his pants in the process. He said:

“I love that film. Literally, that’s one of the only films I’ve pissed my pants at. Like, I actually pissed my pants. […] I also love the behind-the-scenes stuff on the DVD where none of the crew are laughing; the director’s […] telling Chris Kattan, “Just do something funny, just make Chris Penn laugh,” and none of the crew think it’s funny at all.”

While the film might be one of the lowest-rated, there are people who believe that the reason it’s so good is that it’s that bad.

Why Is Corky Romano Such A Low-Rated Film?

There are several reasons that factor in together that mostly justify the position where Corky Romano stands in this day and age. First of all, the film tries desperately to be funny all the time, which leads the actors to deliberately indulge in slapstick humor in a very unnatural way that seems forced. Along with that, the exhausted concept of creating humor without a build-up and just physical attributes is what makes this film a dumpster fire of comedies.
