The Solutions Project serves as concrete evidence for the same.

Celebrating Earth Day, the Begin Again star hopped on Twitter to preach about the importance of protecting one’s surroundings as a token of appreciation for all that the world has to offer. Emphasizing the idea of joining forces to preserve the environment, Ruffalo urged people to “leave [the world] better for the next 7 generations.”
Just last December, Ruffalo lauded the environmental justice communities for putting up a strong opposition against Sen. Joe Manchin’s problematic permitting deal that would’ve otherwise led to fossil fuel projects and other such energy ventures getting streamlined. “Thank you for your principled stance for our dear frontline communities,” Ruffalo stated.

Mark Ruffalo’s latest endeavors involve him raising concerns regarding “clean and affordable energy” in New York, and persuading the relevant authorities to include the NY HEAT Act in the final budget, claiming that doing so would save families “up to $1000 on energy bills.” He also recently fought for the rights of indigenous communities who were being oppressed for years. And those are just a few among an array of humanitarian projects for which Ruffalo has showcased actual concern and invested his time and effort in.
