Fans have been waiting to see a new Thor in the MCU, which is none other than Jane Foster. Thor: Love and Thunder have marked something extraordinary already! To take on Gorr the God Butcher, Jane Foster’s story seems to be mainly based on her journey of becoming Thor in the Marvel comic books. And also fans are more interested in where another wielder of Mjolnir is hiding. What if it’s one of our favorite characters from pages of the comic book, “Beta Ray Bill.”

We know that Beta Ray Bill was a magnificent character from Walt Simonson’s run on The Mighty Thor, but we still haven’t seen him in the MCU. Maybe he would show up in Thor: Love and Thunder, which would be perfect for how Gorr was beaten in the comics.

Beta Ray Bill came up 40 years ago in the pages of Thor #337 comics. In there, Thor was investigating an alien ship that had begun coming upon Earth. Following the comics storyline, Bill was a survivor of a slaughter that befell the Korbinite people, he also underwent a method that mutated him with the strength of alien wildlife. He got separated from his hammer and Thor relapsed to his mortal form of Donald Blake. After that Bill claimed himself worthy by taking the Mjolnir for himself. Now, what would be a better time than this to introduce Beta Ray Bill to the MCU? Thor is the hero of the Avengers who got the fourth movie back to back. Thus, this is the perfect time for Ray Bill to make his debut in this movie. The movie is also supposed to be somewhat focused on Jane Foster’s story, which can include Beta Ray Bill as part of the battle against Gorr.
If Gorr is the villain of Love and Thunder, then this character from the comics may be netted, as well. What do you think? Although the Marvel comics had already introduced Beta Ray Bill years before this story the MCU hasn’t yet. So just putting him into the movie as part of the final battle to overtake Gorr would be extremely amazing, having no extra build-up. Well, Jane Foster might not remain the Mighty Thor, but Beta Ray Bill would be the perfect character for Thor to uphold the mantle.
