During an interview on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, Julia Cunningham, the co-host, wondered if Matthew Perry’s crush on Jennifer Aniston made him seethe in anger upon hearing about Schwimmer’s crush on her. Fortunately, there wasn’t any anger in Perry’s heart. Here’s how the short conversation went:

Julia Cunningham: “I was like, ‘Was Matthew seething with anger on the set of the reunion hearing about this unrequited love?'”

At the 2021 Friends reunion, David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston admitted to having crushes on each other. The Ross actor said, “The first season, we– I had a major crush on Jen.” To this Aniston replied, “It was reciprocated.”

However, Schwimmer said that they never actually dated. He said, “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other. But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. So we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.” Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are all reportedly single now.

Friends is streaming on Netflix.
