Controversies related to The Flash don’t seem to end anytime soon. With the movie set to release soon, a new debate has stormed up. And this time it is related to the movie’s VFX and CGI effects, which fans have been calling absolutely third-grade and unworthy of a DCU superhero movie.
While DCU head James Gunn has been crying praises for the soon-to-be-released The Flash, an industry insider has blasted the movie for having embarrassing VFX work.

Industry Insider Blasts The Flash As Embarrassing
The Flash has been in the news ever since its announcement. Always in the headlines for some reason or the other, this time it is the movie’s ’embarrassing’ CGI and VFX work that has left people calling it out for being unworthy of being released or being called a superhero movie.
Despite the film’s $220 Million budget, DCU’s The Flash is being hailed as cartoonish and a repetition of Justice League’s poor VFX work. This is how most fans have been reacting to the movie before its release,
While it may be too early to mark the movie as a VFX fail, it seems likely that the movie is full of ’embarrassing and repetitive’ CGI since the screening of the movie was carried out almost two months before its release.
James Gunn Calls The Flash One Of The Greatest Movies Ever Made
With James Gunn taking over the reins of DC, the DC-verse has been witnessing heaps of changes in the form of major recasting, changes in storylines, and newer projects. Earlier this year, James Gunn, along with Peter Safran, unveiled the future projects of their first Chapter of the DC Universe.
Among the projects being talked about, he spoke up about the unreleased The Flash starring Ezra Miller. Despite the controversies surrounding Ezra Miller, Gunn unrelentingly declared The Flash as,
“One of the greatest superhero movies ever made.”
With fans hailing the movie as unworthy of being released, James Gunn can only mean two things- One, that the movie is, in fact, a blockbuster; or that James Gunn is simply being a ‘company man through and through’.
The Flash will release on June 16.
