Who Will Ryan Reynolds Play In Dwayne Johnson’s The Fast and The Furious?

In The Fast and The Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, Ryan Reynolds played a CIA agent with a creepy obsession named Victor Locke. While this was a cameo appearance, the star was involved in another role in the film as well by lending his voice to the character of the mysterious Eteon Director who gives the antagonist Brixton played by Idris Elba his marching orders.

Fans are now speculating if Reynolds may appear in this chilling role in Dwayne Johnson’s solo venture which would make him the antagonist. David Leitch who directed Ryan Reynolds in both Deadpool 2 and Hobbs and Shaw, was non-committal in his reply when asked if the actor would be playing the Eteon Director’s role. The director said,

“I’ll be honest, there’s no final decision. I think we wanted to leave it open-ended. We want this thing to live on for a while, and we want these characters to have many adventures.

In contrast, there are also rumors floating around that Kevin Hart may in fact play the role of the antagonist instead of Ryan Reynolds. While there is no official confirmation on the same, Reynolds and Hart’s presence in the film will certainly be one of the main reasons for fans to flock to the theaters.
