Katheryn Hahn made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut with WandaVision. The show was the first in a line of many Disney+ series that came in the fourth phase. The series received a lot of praise for how unique and gripping it was. Hahn’s performance as Agatha absolutely stole the show, even with Elizabeth Olsen’s stunning acting. However, the response to other shows that the MCU released haven’t been the same, at least not all of them.
The lineup for many upcoming projects in the fifth and sixth phases of the franchise earlier seemed to be extremely packed. But Kevin Feige seems to be learning from the mistakes made in Phase 4 and is trying to render them and fix whatever can be turned.
Agatha: Coven Of Chaos Gets Delayed
The MCU is currently going through a rough patch because of its prioritizing of quantity over quality. However, this has been identified to be a problem and the franchise does seem to be working on that. Agatha: Coven of Chaos was slated to be released in 2023 with production set to end by April. But that is no longer the case. The series is now going through story changes. The show also marked the debut of Aubrey Plaza in Marvel, which had fans further excited.
It was also set to make the ground for another spinoff series that would revolve around the story of Vision after the events that took place at the end of WandaVision. The series starring Katheryn Hahn has a lot of fans relying on it. Her character was so well received that people had been demanding more of her constantly. Especially considering that the end of the parent series left a gaping hole in her life thanks to Wanda. Olsen is also rumored to make her return as the Scarlet Witch in Paul Bettany’s spinoff.
Agatha: Coven Of Chaos Not The Only Series To Be Pushed Back
Unfortunately for fans, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is not the only series to get postponed. Echo and Ironheart have both been delayed. The former was introduced in Hawkeye while the latter was introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The only confirmed series in 2023 happens to be the second season of Loki and Secret Invasion.
Daredevil: Born Again seems to be on schedule though and will premiere on the platform in 2024. However, the rest of them still have unclear release dates. The decision for Marvel to perfect the projects little by little will only benefit the franchise and make the fans happy.
