In an interview with Collider, Emily Rudd talked about meeting Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, and how she was terrified for her life. Referring to him as “Oda sensei”, Rudd had a very appreciative moment for Oda who she compared to the likes of standing in front of a god.

“I also was able to meet Oda Sensei and it was easily the most scared I’ve ever been in my whole life. He’s a lovely dude, but, he’s kind of like a god, you know? So, I was like, ‘Oh man, I can’t. Hello, it’s so nice to meet you,’ I’m like just shaking.”

This wasn’t all since Emily Rudd continued to praise “Oda sensei” for creating the iconic manga and how he created something that resonated with the whole world. From her talks, it seems that the ending of One Piece would actually be about the friends Luffy made along the way!
