However, the filmmaker has a particular interest in one franchise, among all. Sitting for an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Nolan expressed his interest in the James Bond franchise.

Discussing how he has always dreamt of getting his hands into the film series, Christopher Nolan also spoke about the factors that are holding him back. Speaking about certain responsibilities he needs to be ready for, before diving into the popular franchise, Nolan disclosed his favorite James Bond actor.

During the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the Tenet director revealed having a soft spot for Timothy Dalton’s 007. “I think he’s closest to the character in the book” Christopher Nolan shared. His choice certainly raised some eyebrows, but who cares? While the world hails Daniel Craig and Sean Connery, Nolan stands ahead of the crowd with his out-of-the-box choice.
