The ending of 2022 was a difficult phase for both Henry Cavill and his fans, considering he was axed from both of his iconic roles. Within two months, the actor was out of the role of Geralt of Rivia and Superman, which left his fans in a state of dismay.

And although it initially appeared that the actor left The Witcher because of creative differences, a source claims that it was the actor who was responsible for his exit. The source also accused the actor of possessing a toxic demeanor, which eventually resulted in his firing.

Henry Cavill was reportedly fired by Netflix from The Witcher

Although it appeared that the actor left The Witcher series due to creative differences, a new source claimed that the actor was allegedly fired from the show. The source also claims that the removal of Henry Cavill was a result of his toxic traits and obsession with the games.

The source pointed out that the actor was initially on very good terms with everyone during the production of the first season but became toxic and self-centered as the seasons progressed. The actor’s extreme obsession with the game was creating an inconvenience among the crew as he was forcing changes without notifying the showrunner. And all of these accumulated to his eventual firing from the later seasons of the show.

And apart from his toxic behavior and extreme obsession with the video game, Cavill has also been accused of misogynistic behavior towards the female crew on the sets of The Witcher. The actor was reportedly impossible when it came to working with women, as he would force constant changes in the storyline.

Henry Cavill is accused of being toxic and misogynist in the sets of The Witcher

Even though Henry Cavill is generally considered a nice and charming dude in the industry, the source claims that the actor was misogynistic towards the female staff in the later seasons. And it eventually caused a big complication, considering the showrunner of The Witcher was a woman.

Henry Cavill reportedly formed a weird alliance with another writer, who was also a gamer and both would force changes in the show on a regular. And the female crew including writers, and directors, were mostly ignored on the set and were unable to do their jobs, which led to many complaints.

But after several HR complaints, the alliance was broken, as the other writer was eventually fired. The source claims that Cavill was given a final warning after several complaints, but the actor allegedly continued with his toxic demeanor, which eventually led to Netflix firing him.

Despite the heaviness of these accusations, there haven’t been any responses regarding the matter either Henry Cavill or Netflix, which has left fans to believe that these claims are false. On the other hand, many believe that it was the actor that left the show because of the writers’ disrespect towards the source material.
