Tom Holland Befriends Timothée Chalamet

Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet have been good pals for quite some time. There were even rumors that Zendaya and Chalamet were dating at one time, but the duo clarified that they were nothing but good friends.

In a recent interview, Tom Holland opened up about his allies in the Hollywood industry. For the promotion of his series titled The Crowded Room, the actor sat down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and got candid about his life and relations with other actors. During the talk, Holland mentioned Zendaya’s rival Timothée Chalamet, and how he has become an ally in this cutthroat business.

“We’re obviously very often part of the same conversation. I admire him. I really like him as a friend. And he’s a good ally to have in a business that’s pretty cutthroat.”

This wasn’t the end of the conversation as Holland revealed that his biggest mentor and supporter was none other than Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch. Talking further, Holland revealed that he was proud of his co-star Andrew Garfield for bouncing back the way he did in Spider-Man: No Way Home after a disappointing The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

In the interview, Holland also talked about his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Andrew Garfield, and how Holland was cast right after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to deliver. Recalling the incident, Holland exclaimed that it must have been a terrible time for the actor. but he was glad how Garfield recovered from it and emerged all the greater.

“I was 19 when I got cast. I was so caught up in getting the role that I never took any time to think about what it must have been like for him. If I’d made my second movie and it didn’t necessarily deliver in the way it should have done and they recast me, I would really struggle to bounce back. Andrew bounced back in the most unbelievable way. I just wish I’d called him and just said, ‘You know I can’t turn down this opportunity.’”

With the actor deviating from his iconic character, Tom Holland recently starred in the series titled The Crowded Room. Being a psychological thriller, The Crowded Room is available to stream on Apple TV+.
