Henry Cavill Doesn't Want To Have a Street Fight With Tom Cruise: "What we'd probably do is, we'd call in a makeup team"

There is a reason why Superman has sold the most amount of comics in the world with a whopping 600 Million copies sold, and that is because he can do all the things that normal people can’t and then some. And when Henry Cavill used to soar the skies on the big screen wearing the long red cape and the iconic suit, it almost felt like we were seeing the actual Superman and not an actor who was just playing the part of the character.

So when we think about the superstar, we always presume that he would possess all the qualities as well as abilities that the caped crusader possessed, which is a testament to the greatness that Cavill brought with his performance as Superman. While many hardcore fans might try to simulate him fighting other superheroes and/or supervillains, most won’t think of Cavill fighting someone else, but just for curiosity, who would win in a brawl between Henry Cavill and Tom Cruise?

Although he may have played the role of Superman in the past, we forget that he isn’t a superhuman. In fact, Henry Cavill is one of the nicest people that you can find in the Hollywood industry, a claim that is backed by many fans and celebrities alike. Apart from his cool and charming personality, he’s also a world-class actor that breathes life into the character he plays. So naturally, just like many others, people were curious whether he would like to fight someone one-to-one, and the top contender was none other than Top Gun star Tom Cruise.

In an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the former The Witcher star was asked about his bathroom fight scenes alongside Cruise in Mission: Impossible- Fallout, where they were discussing his signature arm-reload scene and the stunts that they had to do in the movies, especially along with Cruise. Then, the host asked about who would win in a no-holds-barred street fight amongst them, to which Cavill replied with a witty response as always.

In the interview, he said:

“What we’d probably do is, we’d call in a makeup team, and then we’d cover ourselves in cuts and bruises and have our hair look perfect like we just tussled enough and then stand up and tell a great story about it.”

As expected from the big softball, Cavill would not like to fight with Cruise, who is also one of his great friends. Although it would be more than exciting to see Superman duke it out with Ethan Hunt, it will probably never happen.
