Throughout his career, Ryan Reynolds has worked with several Hollywood stars. Although he has the reputation of being one of the nicest actors to work with, not everyone has the same opinion on working with him. Some have openly shared that they would not prefer working with the Deadpool star again. And there are also some Hollywood stars Reynolds himself did not find pleasing to work with.
He starred alongside American actor Wesley Snipes in the 2004 film Blade: Trinity. While they shared the screen and worked on the film together, Reynolds still claimed that he never truly met Snipes.

Ryan Reynolds And Wesley Snipes Starred in Blade: Trinity
Ryan Reynolds starred alongside Jessica Biel and Wesley Snipes in the third and final film in David S. Goyer’s Blade trilogy. He portrayed the character of Hannibal King in the film as Snipes reprised his popular character Blade from the earlier movies.
He already had a reputation for being tough to work with, and the same was shared by his co-stars from the 2004 superhero film. Actor Patton Oswalt, who also joined the cast of the film as Hedges, highlighted the Undisputed actor’s behavior on the set.
During an interview with AV Club, Oswalt shared that Snipes was so much into his character that he introduced himself as Blade and was not even there while filming most of the scenes. He shared that he “wouldn’t come out of his trailer” and “a lot of the lines that Ryan Reynolds has were just a result of Wesley not being there,” he shared.
Despite his co-star’s odd behavior, Reynolds tried his best to break him out of the character but failed in his attempts. He even went on to claim that he never truly met the New Jack City star as he was always in the shell of his method acting to be Blade.
Ryan Reynolds Claims He Never Met Wesley Snipes
Ryan Reynolds shared his experience working with the Blade star in the 2004 film. Although they worked on the film together, Reynolds claimed that he never actually met Wesly Snipes and was working with “Blade,” who is a method actor. He highly praised the Money Train star for his “style of acting.”
While he constantly tried to break him out of his character, some of these moments resulted in some great ad-libs for the film. The Proposal actor shared that there was a moment when he looked at his co-star Jessica Biel and said, “He hates me, doesn’t he?” However, he did not realize that the camera was rolling, and it went on to become “ad-libs” for the movie.
There were also certain other moments where he tried going off-script to get some sort of reaction from Snipes, but he failed in all of them. And it is also believed to be the reason why the Marvel star might never work with Wesley Snipes again.
