Whenever a star reaches a certain level of fame and recognition in society, there are bound situations that may be in their favor, or against them, which is often related to positive and negative attention that they involuntary manage to grab. And Matt Damon, who is considered one of the nicest stars in the industry is no exception to that.
And as many may know, there is no shortage of negativity out there in the world, especially for the rich and famous. This time, the star was called out a very derogatory homophobic slur that was pretty prevalent in the past, and it was called out by a prominent figure in United States politics as well as a being featured in a film.
Rudy Giuliani Called Matt Damon A Homophobic Slur
While he may not have many haters per se, on the contrary, a great number of admirers and fans, Hollywood star Matt Damon still has people that may not like him for various reasons that we may never know. Therefore, when recently it came to light that the former Mayor of New York City and a minister under the former Trump administration Rudy Giuliani had some problems with him, going so far as to call him the F slur, it got people’s attention pretty quick.

Known for making a lot of enemies in his political career, the Borat Subsequent Moviefilm star was recently heard calling out the Oscar Winner. Recently, Giuliani’s former assistant Noelle Dunphy filed new documents in a lawsuit against him, which also included audio recordings of things that the politician had said in the past. Among them, while talking about celebrities who had Republican ideologies, Giuliani commented on Damon too, saying:
“No, Matt Damon is a — Matt Damon is a f-g, Matt Damon is also 5’2, eyes are blue. Coochie-coochie-coochie-coo.”
While it may have been something very atrocious to say, Damon too is guilty of using this slur in his past. On a previous occasion, the Interstellar star talked about how he once used that word to joke around in front of his daughter, who was so disturbed by it that she refused to talk to him. Therefore, he learned a valuable lesson not to say that slur ever again.
