Bruce Willis and his ex-spouse Demi Moore have always maintained a positive rapport. And the Die Hard star continues to show concern for her well-being. They have managed to part ways on good terms without any bad blood between them. Given their friendly demeanor towards each other, it’s understandable why Willis wasn’t impressed when Moore reconciled with Kutcher.
What Made Willis Angry When Moore Made Peace With Kutcher
Willis and Moore were married for 12 years before they separated in 2000. Moore moved on and tied the knot with Ashton Kutcher in 2005. However, the couple divorced in 2013. Bruce Willis also got married to model Emma Heming in 2009. Reportedly, Bruce wasn’t happy by the news that Demi Morre had made peace with Ashton Kutcher.
A person close to the matter told Ok Magazine that Willis is happy with how things are and supposedly has no desire to have “Kutcher back in the mix.” The source further elaborated, saying,
“Bruce doesn’t get why she’s willing to play nice when Ashton’s done nothing but humiliate her.” The source continued, “He thinks Demi is just setting herself up to be hurt — and he’s peeved because he’ll be the one having to prop her back up!”
Bruce Willis Doesn’t Want Ashton Kutcher Near His Daughters
Bruce Willis was reportedly furious to find out that his children maintained contact with Kutcher. Aston Kutcher and Moore reunited when the latter collaborated with Kutcher’s wife, Mila Kunis. Despite Moore and Kutcher’s separation, Willis’ daughters remained in touch with the No Strings Attached star.
The same source further revealed that the situation further aggravated Willis. The source stated,
“Bruce isn’t thrilled that the girls still talk to the guy and that they gave their stamp of approval to Demi doing the ad with Mila. But Ashton was a dream stepdad to them, and that only aggravates him even more.”
Ashton Kutcher is close with Demi Moore’s daughters, who have developed a great bond with each other. In a guest appearance on Marc Maron’s podcast, Kutcher revealed,
“I make a really conscious effort to stay in touch with the girls. I love them, and I’m never going to stop loving them, right? And respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they’re pursuing.”
Bruce Willis And Demi Moore’s Friendship Over The Years
When they separated, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis cited irreconcilable differences as the reason. However, their current relationship is driven by the friendship they developed while co-parenting their children.
“Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside … It’s difficult to live your life and marriage under a magnifying glass, which is what happens to movie star couples.”
Both stars share three children Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Reports suggested that their split was due to Willis’s desire for Moore to become a stay-at-home mom while she was in her prime professionally. Moore was unwilling to quit her acting career, so their marriage led to a divorce.
