Back when Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man from the epic Spider-Man trilogy came out in 2002, Harry Osborn’s actor, James Franco, was the most dashing and handsome character in the movie for fans of the box office hit. Fans would literally rate the 44-year-old actor as much more good-looking than lead star Tobey Maguire!
Franco claims that co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire were a “couple” at that time and that he also had a crush on Dunst, which eventually birthed some tensions between the two male co-stars. Now, it looks like the Pineapple Express person is someone you’d think would be a totally unfun person to be around on a movie set, and backing up Maguire’s disdain for him would be Henry Cavill too!

Henry Cavill Hated Working With James Franco, Claims The Latter
As it stands, James Franco is not the nicest guy to be around, especially because there have been several sexual misconduct allegations made against the 44-year-old star. This also makes him one of the most unmarketable actors right now, and rightly so because he’s pretty much been canceled.
Various actors have given their comments on their experience working with the Rise of the Planet of the Apes star, and none of them like the person at all. During the filming of Annapolis, Tyrese Gibson claims that Franco took his method acting way too seriously, adding that he punched the F9 star one too many times in the face as well.
Adding to that list of actors is Henry Cavill, who according to Franco wasn’t too into him as a person. In a review, he wrote for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel for Vice, the James Dean star reveals that Cavill indeed had some reservations for him-
“Years ago we worked on a film together called Tristan and Isolde. I played Tristan and he played my backstabbing sidekick. My hunch is that he didn’t like me very much. I don’t know this for certain, but I know that I wouldn’t have liked myself back then because I was a difficult young actor who took himself too seriously.”
It must’ve probably been a hunch for James Franco, maybe Cavill’s stern demeanor and huge body just put him off. But one thing’s for sure, the Justice League star is definitely doing way better than Franco in the movie industry right now!
James Franco At Least Tried To Change After The Allegations
The sexual misconduct allegations that were raised against James Franco a few years ago were definitely the recipe for a huge setback in his career as an actor. The accusations range from a violent physical altercation with a co-star to forced or*l s*x with a former girlfriend.
The 44-year-old star eventually lost his long-running friendship with comedian and actor Seth Rogen, as well as growth in dislike for the actor on the internet.
But Franco seems to have also taken these allegations against him in a positive light, saying on The Jess Cagle Podcast that he “changed” after the whole incident-
“If anything positive has come out of this, it’s like, I’ve changed. It’s given me the incentive to do the work to change. I’ll keep working at it for the rest of my life, but at least it got me off that path that was never going to end and would probably kill me.”
It’s pretty nice to hear that at least he’s honest about what he’s done and that he’s working on being a better person!
