Actors Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg worked together while filming Ruben Fleischer’s 2022 movie, Uncharted. The two have known each other for a very long time now and Wahlberg, being an old veteran actor, once felt like Holland needs some advice so he can navigate through the world of stardom.
The two met in 2017 when Tom Holland was already a superstar thanks to his appearance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU. The advice may seem quite dumb to a lot of people, but Wahlberg felt like giving that advice to Holland.
Mark Wahlberg gave Tom Holland a terrible advice
Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg appeared on The Graham Norton Show together back in 2017. At the time, Holland was a rising star thanks to his appearance in the MCU. On the show, Wahlberg decided to give Holland some advice,
“I just met all your brothers. Bring the boys to Cali, get a medical marijuana license so that if you use, you have an excuse, and have some fun, dude. Have some fun for me.”
Wahlberg basically asked Holland to “go crazy.” He also said that he should get a hot bathtub installed in his house.
Tom Holland doesn’t like to “go crazy“
If you’re not up to date with Tom Holland’s life, the actor doesn’t like the lifestyle that Wahlberg advised him to live. Holland is not the type of person who would spend all his hard-earned money on weed or some fancy jacuzzi.
Holland has worked very hard and rose to fame quite quickly. The actor started acting when he was just 12, and his first major performance was back in 2008 when he starred in a stage production of Billy Elliot: The Musical.
Tom Holland gained popularity in 2016 after he played Spider-Man
Holland became a worldwide sensation after he appeared in Captain America: Civil War as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in 2016. The actor was just 18 when they started filming and his performance was remarkable. Holland has won several awards for his work, including the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2017.
He has also appeared in films such as The Lost City of Z, The Current War, and Onward. Even if somehow Tom Holland runs out of work, he has a backup plan. Since most of the men in Holland’s family were carpenters, his mother sent him to carpentry school. However, he never finished the program as his acting career took off.
