One Piece Broke These Records
The manga set a Guinness World Record in 2015 and 2022 for “the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author.” From 2008 to 2018, it was the best-selling manga for 11 years in a row, and it is the only manga with an original print of more than three million volumes for more than ten years. Since 2008, One Piece has been the only manga whose volumes have topped the weekly comic chart at Oricon.
