Jonathan Majors’ attorney claims that the actor is innocent

Following Jonathan Majors’ arrest, his attorney Priya Chaudhry claimed that the actor is completely innocent. The attorney stated that all these charges are false and they have sufficient evidence to prove that Majors wasn’t involved in any sort of assault and is a victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. She stated,

“This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations. All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever.”

The attorney also claimed that the woman was allegedly having an emotional crisis, which led to the whole dispute. Chaudhry explained that the only reason that Majors was arrested was that the officials had to follow a standard procedure concerning these charges.

Multiple Hollywood stars spoke out against Jonathan Majors after his arrest

Even though the legitimacy of these charges against the actor is still under question, however, this hasn’t stopped Hollywood from branding Jonathan Majors as guilty already. Several filmmakers, including Uncle Frank director A.B. Allen, deemed the actor as a “vicious, cruel, abusive human being, both professionally and in his personal life”.

Allen wasn’t the only one to speak out against Majors after the whole debacle as Broadway actor Tim Nicolai also claimed that the actor has been always an abuser since his days at Yale University. Nicolai said,

“I’m just gonna say this about Jonathan Majors and be done with it: folks at Yale and the broader NYC community have known about him for years. He’s a sociopath and abuser and that is how virtually everyone speaks about him. It’s a shame it took this long for him to be reported.”
