It’s that time of the month again when fans bash yet another DCU movie for reasons right or wrong. James Gunn, who is the co-head of DC Studios created quite the hype for The Flash. Although the movie has been released and severely failed to keep up with the amount of overselling that they did before the film’s release.
With the film allegedly having bad VFX and being labeled as overhyped, fans couldn’t help but blame James Gunn for the movie’s failure. As per the fans, all the word-of-mouth promotions made sense since it was alleged that the movie lacked something.
James Gunn’s Comments On The Flash Gets Bullied On The Internet
Well, it just might be so that the movie was indeed too good to be true. With the allegations against Ezra Miller getting quieter day by day, fans were quite hyped up for the release of the upcoming DCU movie.
With James Gunn at the helm of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran, The Flash was supposed to be the first big thing under James Gunn‘s rule in the DCU. Ever since all hell broke loose when Ezra Miller was caught in their antics, Gunn and the DC Studios have been actively trying to recreate a good image of the movie. With several actors recommending the movie, the initial reviews are here and they are completely…embarrassing for the DCU once again.
Fans couldn’t help but notice the irony in the tweets as they took to the tweets section and roasted the hell out of The Flash and James Gunn in the collateral damage.
As the movie gets a negative initial review, it seems that The Flash might disappoint DCU fans once again. Although the movie is directed by Andy Muschietti, it seems that James Gunn doesn’t want to see the movie either. There have been allegations that well-known celebrities like Tom Cruise praised the DCU movie but did not give an honest review.

With such different reviews received from the people, it’s time to revisit what the savior of Hollywood had to say about the movie. Before its release, the actor revealed that he was literally in awe of the movie.
After watching the movie, Tom Cruise recalled that it was “everything you want in a movie” and “this is the kind of movie we need now”. After its release, The Flash currently stands at an average rating of 7.4/10 on IMDB and 67% on Rotten Tomatoes. Under the leadership of James Gunn, Ezra Miller’s The Flash is currently screening in theaters across the world for people to see.
