The main job of a Hollywood star is to divert the audience’s gaze and pull them into the reality they’re creating on screen, which means presenting themselves to mesmerize them perfectly with their performance. And stars like Daniel Radcliffe, most famous for his depiction of the titular protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise, manage to do just that.
And in the process of portraying the character, the star grew up from a young boy to a full-grown adult in front of the world’s eyes, which obviously got him a lot of attention from the public, and naturally, the ladies as well. But despite all that recognition and love from his fans, the star felt he wasn’t attractive enough to people of his opposite gender.
Daniel Radcliffe Felt He Wasn’t Attractive Enough To The Ladies
Ever since he was just a kid back in 2001 when the first Harry Potter film was released, Daniel Radcliffe has been making headlines in the media circles for being the face of one of the most iconic cinematic franchises of all time. All the fame and fortune that he has amassed in the industry is due to his hard work as well as all the attention he got from his fans and the audience. But even with so much love and admiration from the world, it seems like the star felt that he might just be an average Joe when it comes to charming the ladies.

While working with The Batman star Robert Pattinson in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, Radcliffe was constantly being compared to his co-star in terms of how they both appealed to women and who would claim the title of heartthrob if it came to a head to head contest of crowning a prince charming. While Pattinson stayed humble and claimed that his co-star would be the clear winner, Radcliffe knew early on that he stood no chance, especially to who he was up against, and called himself relatively unattractive. In a past interview, the Guns Akimbo star said:
“I don’t have his number, so haven’t spoken to him [about any advice]. But I can safely say that his insisting that girls would choose me over him, that they would not, that they do not. He is much prettier and can be much more charming. And he can do that thing of being sultry and sexy. Rob can just sort of stand there and look at something and start to smolder. And I just can’t do that.”
While he might believe that girls might not dig him that much, the millions of female fans that are crazy for him might suggest otherwise.

Will We See Daniel Radcliffe As Harry Potter Again?
While it may have been more than a decade since we last saw the star as the instantly recognizable main protagonist of the Harry Potter franchise, his face is still so iconic that his name and the name of the titular character are almost synonymous. And seeing as the craze and popularity of the franchise has only grown in the years after the end of the novels and the films, people are hoping to see Radcliffe reprising his role. And while there are plans for a reboot of the series at Warner Bros., it’ll be interesting to see what the studio will decide at the end.
