Sofia Vergara faced a unique problem when she thought her fiancé was too handsome to handle. It was before the Modern Family fame got married to Joe Manganiello. According to Vergara, she was extremely doubtful if she should get together with the Magic Mike actor as the latter received a lot of female attention.
Joe Manganiello is well known to his fans for his roles in the Magic Mike movies, Rampage, and also as DCEU’s Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke. The actor got married to Sofia Vergara in 2015 and the couple has received wide attention over the years. It was interesting to know that at one point the Gloria actress was even hesitant to go out with Manganiello.
Why was Sofia Vergara not sure about Joe Manganiello?
When the Chef actress appeared in an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live before her marriage to Joe Manganiello, she revealed that she was initially not sure about the Justice League star. Speaking about her then-fiancé, Sofia Vergara told that she faced much female competition before the union was finalized.
As the Colombian diva admitted to Kimmel that her husband was too handsome, she also revealed that it was one of the reasons why she was hesitant to go into the relationship. When Kimmel asked if she was always doubtful about dating hot guys, Vergara replied:
“At that point, yes, because I had just broken up with my ex [Nick Loeb]. I didn’t want to go into a relationship with somebody that…I thought he was going to be too much work, because girls were throwing themselves at him.”
Sofia Vergara was quick to agree that the girls can’t be blamed for appreciating Manganiello’s incomparable looks, but she wasn’t ready for such a situation then.
“I’m like, ‘Ay! No! Please, I want somebody normal.’ I’ve seen it. Girls don’t care. I mean, have you seen him? I mean, I understand. I don’t judge them.”

The 51-year-old also took this conversation to many other talk shows and interviews where she repeatedly claimed that it was not easy for her to get used to her husband’s good looks. She even confessed to Ellen DeGeneres that she wasn’t even interested in the relationship at first.
Ultimately both of them were happily married in 2015. But it looks like the couple is going through a situation after the fans spotted certain suspicious things on both of their social media.
Are Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara going through something?
After some recent social media posts done by both the Spider-Man actor and Sofia Vergara, the fans are concerned that this relationship is in potential danger. Although the couple were happily married since 2015, looks like they are going through something at present.
The supposed conflict came to light when the Chasing Papi actress recently celebrated her 51st birthday. On one side as Joe Manganiello was absent from his wife’s birthday, the Deathstroke actor’s Instagram post also hinted at something between the two. He posted a low-quality throwback photo with his wife while the caption simply read “Happy Birthday, Sofia.” in Spanish.
The fans were not happy with Manganiello’s attitude and claimed that the wish looks cold and even his pet dog received a better birthday post than her. The fans were furthermore afraid as Vergara’s wedding ring was also missing from her birthday posts. She also didn’t comment on Manganiello’s post which raised concerns if we are going to witness another big celebrity separation soon.
