Gamescom 2023 is off to a great start as information is thrown about, revealing all sorts of new information for gamers. And now there has been a new trailer, which was shown during Gamescom 2023’s Opening Night Live (ONL) for Nightingale, the upcoming title from Inflexion Games. As it has now been announced, there will be an opportunity for early access, and they also showed off one of the games many Colossal Denizens!

Throughout the brand-new trailer, which has been revealed during Gamescom 2023 ONL, we have been shown quite a lot regarding Nightingale. We have seen information regarding the enemies we will face, and when we may come against them. In the trailer showcase, it was revealed that players will have the option to join in early access, which will be available on February 22nd, and the price to purchase Nightingale will be set to $29.99. This early access period is crucial, as it will be the time for players to provide feedback to help Inflexion Games create the perfect game.

During the trailer, we also got a sneak peek at one of the Colossal Denizens that will be active in Nightingale. This enemy is called the towering Sun Giant. From the trailer, we have seen it is going to be a difficult enemy to go up against, and will need all of the player’s expertise to  contend which such a beast. In the world of Nightingale, players will need to build to survive the harsh world, especially with monsters like the towering Sun Giant walking around.

It has also been mentioned that Nightingale will only be available on PC, either through Steam or the Epic Game Store, and currently does not have any plans to move onto consoles. But that may not always be the case as the game is still in development, and could change once the early access is over and they have enough valid feedback.

Many players may not have heard about Nightingale before this trailer was released, and you may be wondering what Nightingale is and what you, as the player, will have to do throughout the game. Nightingale is described as a first-person, open-world, player vs environment, survival crafting game, which will set players out into the world of the Faewilds. Gamers will be tasked with surviving either by building bases with their friends, or alone, and creating contraptions to protect themselves from the evils lurking around them.

When players look at Nightingale, there are a lot of viewers who will be wondering what kind of setting the game is trying to work towards as the characters seem to be dressed up like they are from a Steampunk Victorian Era. But they are also in a fantasy mystical realm with monsters and technology to fill their wildest dreams and nightmares.

To effectively describe the world of Nightingale, it would be best to say that it is set in a gaslamp fantasy universe, in which the players are able to use all kinds of technology and tools to help protect themselves. It also has an in-depth structure-building system to help players create all sorts of communities as they traverse through the numerous realms that Nightingale has to offer, and search for a safe place to call home.
