On their social media account, HBO Max posted an image of Jon Snow from one of the early seasons of Game of Thrones with a brief caption, “I know nothing.” This may simply be an acknowledgment of the rumors online.

Jon Snow is played by Kit Harington, the bastard son of Lord Eddard and Catelyn Stark from the hit fantasy series Game of Thrones. He serves the Night’s Watch and is supposedly the rightful king of the Seven Kingdoms. Harington received two Emmy Awards nominations for his role as Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones is also dropping another spin-off which will arrive this August. House of the Dragon follows the story of the House Targaryen’s civil war, set 300 years before the events in Game of Thrones. The show will give the viewers a further look at ancient Westeros.

The prequel is based on George R.R. Martin’s novel Fire & Blood. Actor Ryan Corr teased that the House of the Dragon rivals the scale of Game of Thrones.

The sheer size of it was something I was amazed by… When you are walking into operational sets with actual jousting tournaments and full-level scale castles with fire cauldrons hanging on the roof, it’s a pretty incredible place to be. It’s like walking into a live Shakespeare play,” he explained.

While the first season of House of the Dragon is still on its way to the screens, a second season has been greenlit by HBO Max. Writing has already begun for the sequel, but HBO has yet to confirm this given the rumors about a Jon Snow spin-off.
