After such ghastly times in his life, the 53-year-old resorted to some serious introspection. “I was raised believing the man is in charge,” Howard confessed. “But I’ve realized marriage should be an equal partnership.”

Howard had apparently started his third marriage with a clean slate as a reformed man who believed that there was room for him to grow and mature. “Two weeks after meeting Mira, I gathered up things associated with my past and found a nice hill and buried them all there,” he stated.

There had been a time when he had even considered becoming a Jehovah’s Witness for a brief period, but after meeting his third wife, Miranda Pak in 2013, he decided to yield any religious beliefs he had and started to find “truth” in nature and science instead.
