Followed by a series of cameos in 2023, Gal Gadot finally took the screen for herself in her latest feature, Heart of Stone. However, many have still praised the action sequences in the movie, whether it is the opening sequence in the casino ski resort or the car chase through the streets of Lisbon. While it is not the first film Gadot has taken the stage to show off her moves, it has led fans to question if she would also join the UFC like her Fast and Furious co-star John Cena‘s rival Brock Lesnar.

Following a career in WWE, the professional wrestler, Lesnar signed with UFC in 2008. During her recent interview with GQ, Gadot also came across the question if she could be in the UFC. Considering her experience in the military and expertise in martial arts, fans believed that she could enter the UFC ring.

However, the Fast and Furious actress politely denied the possibility, saying, “I mean, let’s let the professionals do their thing. I will sit from the front row and cheer.” While fans might not see her in the UFC, Gadot would surely keep them entertained with her performance on the screen.

Wonder Woman Inspired Gal Gadot to do More Action Flicks

Gal Gadot has been quite open about her love for action movies. However, growing up, she always wondered why the genre did not have many women-led films. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress shared that she is a huge fan of the movies under the genre and has always wanted to feature in such movies as well.

Although she has starred in several action movies, it wasn’t until her DC film Wonder Woman that she realized that people do crave and love woman-centric action flicks.“I had an ‘aha!’ moment. I was like, ‘Wait a second, men go to see [women-led action films too]. We can [make more], so let’s do it,” she said.

The actress claimed that it was after Wonder Woman she decided to work on an action thriller and started working on the Netflix original with her husband, Jaron Varsano. Apart from being its lead star, Gadot, and her husband have also produced Heart of Stone under her production company, Pilot Wave.

Heart of Stone is streaming on Netflix.
