Death Note Live Action movie was a flop, but One Piece Live Action has exceeded everyone’s expectations. It is being loved by all. One Piece watchers and non-watchers both have found it quite amazing. The fact that Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, himself was involved with production has helped the show reach absolute perfection. Other than that, One Piece Live Action had a great cast who represented their characters well.
One Piece Live Action is a breath of fresh air to all the failed anime adaptations of the past. It has been such a success that an old anime is making plans to do a live-action after seeing One Piece’s success. This particular franchise has already failed once with a live adaptation movie. They want to do it right and learn from their past mistakes.
Death Note To Make A Live-Action Series
Death Note is one of the most-watched and highest-rated anime of all time. The anime is so popular that non-anime watchers have also watched this anime. Death Note ran from 2006 to 2007. Tsugumi Ohba writes it, and Takeshi Obata is the illustrator. The anime had 37 episodes. Coming from the thriller, horror, crime, drama, mystery, suspense, and fantasy genres, it is on everybody’s watchlist.
The immense popularity of the anime has made the creator think about making a live-action series. The series will stream on Netflix. The date and time of release has not yet been finalized. The series is in its initial stages, so it might take some time for the fans to experience Light vs. L.
Matt and Ross Duffer of Stranger Things have produced some pictures of the Upside Down. These are prototypes for Netflix’s upcoming projects. One of them happens to be the Death Note Live Action series. Most details about the new series have been kept a secret, but Halia Abdel-Meguid will produce and write the series.

Netflix’s Death Note Movie Failed Miserably
Netflix released a Death Note live-action movie on 24 August 2017. Adam Wingard directed the movie. The fans had a lot of expectations from the film. With Willem Dafoe, Nat Wolff, and LaKeith Stanfield as the main cast, it was sure to create a box office hit. But when the movie started streaming on Netflix, it was one of the worst live actions ever.
The fans lashed out at the producers for making such a movie of their favourite anime. Moreover, a 37-episode anime cannot be done with a 1-and-a-half-hour film. So many details went missing. With that in mind, Netflix will likely make the series more detailed. With the path set by One Piece Live Action, it will be interesting to see how the Death Note Live Action series performs.
