Academy Award winner Charlize Theron is one of the most highly-paid actresses in the entertainment industry. The actor-producer is of South African-American origin and has been part of the industry for more than two decades. Some of her prominent works include The Devil’s Advocate, Mighty Joe Young, Monster, Snow White and the Huntsman, and more. The actress is a professional in terms of action movies, and she can be seen giving a tough fight in the Fast and Furious series.
Hancock fame is known for her fearless and confident personality and says anything without hesitation. Theron came to the limelight when she body-shamed martial art legend Steven Seagal and called him overweight.

Mad Max: Fury Road star shared her views on Steven Seagal in an interview with Howard Stern. The actress blasted the 68-year-old veteran action hero and called him out for misconduct with several women.
She was enraged at him and said,
“I have no problem talking s*** about him because he’s not very nice to women, so f*** you.”
Theron also opened up about training for action and fighting roles and explained she would stumble upon YouTube videos of Steven Seagal performing Aikido, a Japanese martial art. She added that she didn’t think he was worthy of the prestige given to him.
Theron said,
“At night I’ll go online to watch fighters or watch people fight and you always come across that odd Seagal video of him ‘fighting’ in Japan, but he really isn’t. He’s just incredibly overweight and pushing people.”
Taking about the Under Siege actor, she called his fight sequences fake.
“He’s overweight and can barely fight – look it up, it’s ridiculous. He’s shoving people by the face. It’s a whole setup.”

Charlize Theron appreciates tough female action stars
Over the years, numerous actresses have taken up roles involving actions and stunts, which they pull off excellently. Theron roots for strong female action heroes as they have raised the bar for the action film genre. They have proved themselves equally good in the fight scene as their counterparts.
Theron said,
“We don’t want to f—–g fight like men, we want to fight like we would fight and figure out what this looks like. We want to fight smarter we want to fight in a way that makes sense and we want to do it in a way where we’re still part of emotional storytelling.”
Theron also dismissed rumors that she and actor Sean Penn, whom she dated for some months, nearly tied the knot. Atomic Blonde shared,
“What? That’s not true. No. I did not ‘almost get married to Sean.’ That’s such bulls—t. We dated. That’s literally all we did.”
Charlize Theron will work in the Australian-American post-apocalyptic action-adventure film, Furiosa, directed by George Miller. It will release in 2024.
