Director Michael Bay directed the 5 installments of the Transformers series. The 58-year-old director was the mastermind behind the hit film series from 2007 to 2017. Megan Fox was a part of the Transformers series since the first installment was released on 4 August 2007. Fox played the role of Mikaela Banes. Again in 2009, the 37-year-old actress was seen playing a significant role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen which was the second installment of the Transformer series.

As fans loved to see Fox as Mikaela, many were expecting her return in 2011 in the third Transformers series. But, unfortunately, Bay was instructed not to let the Till Death actress come back for the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Steven Spielberg who was the executive producer of the Transformers series asked the director to fire Foxx because she commented on Bay. Reportedly, the famous filmmaker wasn’t happy with Fox’s statement about Bay. Being the executive producer of the film series he directed the Ambulance director to sack the 37-year-old actress. He reportedly said, “Fire her right now.” During an interview, Fox was asked about her Transformers director Bay and while responding to this question, Foxx said,

“Bay wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward.”

She further added,

“He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant.”
