News broke on January 1st of a horrible accident that almost took down one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the only catch being that there was no assurance about things turning out nicely for the hero this time around. Jeremy Renner’s involvement in the snow plow accident on New Year’s Day was primarily shocking before the gradual feelings of terror began to settle in among the collective consciousness. And just like that, the season of new resolutions and fresh start that usually comes with the New Year didn’t seem worth celebrating anymore.
Jeremy Renner Sends an Update on His Journey to Recovery
It has been almost 3 months since a snow plow ran over Jeremy Renner crushing more than 30 bones in his lower body. For the longest time since the accident, hope seemed a bleak concept for the fans and existed solely to keep up the morale and go along with the good wishes. But even a 14,330 pounds Sno-Cat could not keep Renner confined to his bed.
Within the first week, the actor had progressed considerably after undergoing two consecutive surgeries. However, an insider source close to the Renner family revealing that the Hawkeye actor may not be able to regain the full functionality of his legs again had decidedly sent the fans spinning into a frenzy.
Now, after three whole months, Jeremy Renner, who has been chronicling his recovery and consistently giving the fans timely updates on his health, has taken his first steps on an antigravity treadmill, reaffirming once and for all that he indeed is indomitable in his sheer force of strength and will.
Fans Rejoice as Jeremy Renner Takes His First Steps
On 26th March 2023, MCU actor Jeremy Renner shared a video of himself taking his first steps since the accident on an antigravity treadmill under medical supervision. The orthopedic injuries that Renner had endured during his collision had rendered him immobile and confined to bed rest. But now, the latest update on his progress has not only defied expectations but also reinvigorated the fans to rejoice in the good news.
The Hawkeye actor had gone toe-to-toe with the Sno-Cat after receiving a call on January 1 about a relative’s car being stuck in the snow and driving to the location to help. Reports indicate the Sno-Cat began to roll down the road and Renner jumped in to save his nephew who was stuck in the snow. The actor had just finished shooting Season 2 of Taylor Sheridan’s immensely acclaimed series, Mayor of Kingstown, which is now streaming on Paramount+
