Mark Wahlberg has been a part of the Hollywood industry and his mind travels from the camera to behind it and also focuses on the business development angle. His range in acting is already incredible, but his range in skills is swoon-worthy. The actor recently moved to Nevada after living in California for so long. Ever since then, he has been exposed to an environment outside of the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
This has changed his outlook toward life and employment in general. In today’s world where the economy is constantly changing tide and there is a scarcity of jobs, especially for the younger generations. The actor has offered to create jobs that will offer a lot more than what the current economy allows, specifically in big areas like LA.
Mark Wahlberg Wants A Hollywood 2.0
Mark Wahlberg has been getting accustomed to the Las Vegas lifestyle, stepping away from the heavy and excruciating lifestyle that Los Angeles provided. He has decided to not only expand his restaurant chain, Wahlburgers but also start his own studio.
“The average salary would be $100,000 more than what it is now. We want to train people both in front of and behind the camera, create jobs, most importantly, first and foremost, for locals.”
He wants to make Las Vegas a new hub for bigger industries and businesses. His goal is to create around 10,000 new jobs. The cost of living in the place is also much less as compared to LA and so even if they were to earn exactly the same amount as they were before, they would still be getting double the benefits. He is looking to start an entirely new studio that can alone stand a lot of jobs, excluding his other eight businesses.
Mark Wahlberg Recently Opened His Second Restaurant In Las Vegas
Mark Wahlberg started his restaurant chain with his brothers, Chef Paul, and Donnie Wahlberg. They have 97 outlets throughout the world and they plan on expanding even more. Although they have various restaurants in the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia; there was only one outlet in Vegas.
“What we find is that people from all over the country and people from all over the world who have had Wahlburgers and want a taste of home end up gravitating towards those locations. So it’s really exciting.”
The governor has also given the actor motivation with his goal of bringing business outside of games so that tourists can experience more of what Las Vegas is and can be. Furthermore, it benefits the locals a lot and offers jobs in various places.
