Chris Pratt was one of the many actors in Hollywood, who was relieved after the Hawkeye actor escaped death following his surgery after a devastating accident with a snow plow. Being Renner’s dear friend, Pratt was the first one to send continued prayers his way. Recently, the actor shared his relief once again and shared a secret behind their friendship during an appearance with his co-star Zoe Saldana on Simon’s IGV Presents ahead of the release of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3.
Not Even A Locomotive Can Take Down Jeremy Renner
During an appearance on IGV Presents, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, who returned to action as Star-Lord and Gamora in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3, were asked by Simon, Who is most likely to make a superhero in real life? Jeremy Renner, Jeremy Renner, or Jeremy Renner?” The co-stars unequivocally hailed Marvel’s Hawkeye for coming out alive from a horrific accident.
Chris Pratt described his dear friend as, “faster than a locomotive, also stronger than one that runs him over.” Marvel’s Gamora interrupted and added, “And the fact that he said that he would do it again if he has to save his nephew’s life again, truly makes him a superhero in real life.”
Pratt sighed, “I am so glad he is around,” referring to his near-death experience. In January, Jeremy Renner (51) shared his health update with his worried fans on Instagram, showing an image of his bruised face from the hospital bed after undergoing surgery. Pratt was the first one to send his prayers.
Jeremy Renner and Chris Pratt Were Neighbors
Earlier this year, a weather-related accident caused Renner to be airlifted to a hospital after he got injured in a snow vehicle accident in Reno, Nevada. Renner was trying to stop his snowplow from sliding and hitting his adult nephew when he met with the brutal accident.
During the conversation, Chris Pratt shared a little secret about his longtime friendship with The Town actor, revealing that Jeremy Renner was his next-door neighbor for a few years. He called him a “great guy”. Jeremy Renner is also very close to Pratt’s family.
Previously, the 51-year-old actor revealed that being neighbors, the actors indulged in playdates with their kids. Renner, who has a 10-year-old daughter, Ava with Sonni Pacheco, mentioned that he gets along with Pratt, Anna Faris, and their son Jack “all the time”. Renner shared in an interview that their kids went to the same school.
Renner broke more than 30 bones following the brutal accident. Thankfully, the actor is walking back, nearly three months after the tragic incident. Renner’s fans have continued to praise him for his “strength, determination, and resilience”. The actor did escape death after all!
