Being a Gaming enthusiast can be a little expensive at times, especially when a title like Starfield is around the corner. With Bethesda set to push the RPG field to new heights as they did way back in the 2010s with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it’s reasonable for them to charge a hefty amount for the upcoming game.
Although users with a game pass. will land their hands on the highly anticipated game free of cost, as long as they keep on paying for the services, many prefer owning the game rather than subscribing to it. As a result, some users have come up with a brilliant plan to get the physical edition at an efficient price point.
Fans Found an Efficient Way to Get Hands on the Physical Copy of Starfield
With a month away from launch, the upcoming sci-fi RPG remains the most anticipated game of this year, thanks to the brilliant minds behind its development process. Even though Xbox users comprising the game pass will land their hands on the sci-fi RPG without any extra charges, many gamers remain tempted by the option to land their hands on the physical edition. Although it depends on one’s preference whether they enjoy paying for a subscription or owning a game forever, buying the physical edition of Starfield will by no means be cheap.
But rather than spending around $90 upon its release, some users on Reddit have cooked up some genius ways to cut costs. One user stated,
“Gamepass, then purchase Game of the Year edition (edit: on sale) when DLC is done in a few years.”
Although it can’t be said for sure the exact amount of discount the game will witness in Sales, it’s reasonable to assume the physical edition will not cost around the $90 price point forever.
PS5 users are set to get a promising alternative to Starfield
Although Xbox users are set to experience the joy of landing their hands on the highly anticipated Bethesda release, it’s not all gloomy for PS5 owners. Even though they will miss out on Starfield, there is another promising RPG that is set to make its way to the platform on the same day as Bethesda’s Starfield launch, September 6.
Baldur’s Gate 3 might not be similar to Starfield, but it has still managed to leave fans in awe through its visuals, and will reportedly have around 17000 different endings, giving players full control. Although it is not similar to Bethesda’s upcoming title, as it will be more of a turn-based strategy affair, both are win-win situations for RPG fans, as they’re going to have a blast.
With gamers engrossed in the upcoming sci-fi-RPG, which might be the next big thing in gaming, fans are optimistic that the game will justify its price point following Bethesda’s track record.
