The Impact of Doctor Strange’s Sequel on the MCU
The concept of the Multiverse would be fleshed out in this movie. With this, we may see many new characters and many older ones. This complex multiverse would, perhaps, henceforth be central to MCU stories. The Doctor Strange sequel would allow Marvel to bring more stories from the comics to the Cinematic Universe. The MCU is ever-growing and needs fresh characters and stories going forward.
Next, this film would also interlink and connect all the previous projects from the Marvel Cinematic Universe phase four. Events from Disney+ shows, Loki, and WandaVision may tie into the story of this film, in a big way or more subtly. Either way, this would be big for the future of the MCU. This interlinking of past MCU movies and Disney+ shows is quite fascinating and would make this film hugely significant going forwards.
