The most awaited DC Movie of the year, The Flash released today in theatres worldwide. The film features young actor Ezra Miller in the lead role of Flash along with Supergirl Sasha Calle. The film is special for the fans in many ways including the concept of the multiverse, time travel, and the union of the two Batmen, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck. The excellent cinematography, interesting storyline, and talented cast have set the expectation high for the fans. However, the box-office reviews are a bit surprising.
After the release of the film, the review started pouring on social media platforms. The fans of Flashpoint Comics and DC are quite disappointed with the new release.
Fans disapprove of Ezra Miller’s The Flash
The Flash is the 13th installment in the DC Extended Universe. It is directed by Andy Muschietti. Ezra Miller’s Flash first appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. The recent film is the first one where Ezra Miller played the lead as Barry Allen.
Fans are unhappy with the picturization of the film and the twisted storyline. The fans are calling the star-studded cameos a desperate attempt to bring the audience to the theatres.
A user wrote,
“The Flash movie RUINED Flashpoint. It wasn’t good. Ezra Miller was incredibly annoying, and I found myself cringing when he was on screen. The cameos were a desperate attempt to bring people to the theater to see this bastardized version of The Flashpoint Paradox. Michael Keaton can’t save this film. The only thing this movie did was remind me that we are never getting a Ben Affleck solo BATMAN film. He was the BEST part of the movie, and he was barely in it. Save your money. This movie is not worth it.”
Another said,
“Fully agree, and I only saw it because I had free tickets from a cousin. It was abysmal at best.”
