Keanu Reeves is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the Hollywood industry and one of the most fan-favorite actors of today’s generation. From his classic role in The Matrix franchise as Neo, the main protagonist aka The Chosen One, to the titular role of staring as the boogeyman aka John Wick in the John Wick franchise, Keanu Reeves has been one of the most consistent actors and has not failed to deliver under any circumstance.
As Keanu Reeves is well known for not backing down from any challenge or role he was provided with, there were many situations where Reeves had to face a lot of trouble while filming some specific scenes. One such situation was the fight scene that took place on the staircase while running up 222 steps and simultaneously fighting off many villains at the same time which Reeves claimed to be a very “traumatic” situation.

The 222 Steps Fight Scene Was Quite Hectic for Keanu Reeves
John Wick 4 has been quite a ride for most of the fans and followers of Keanu Reeves, who have supported him till now and the movie turned out to be a very action-packed thriller movie. The fans completely loved it and to be honest, the bar has been raised for the upcoming action movies which will be highly expected to deliver equally well. The movie has been packed with Reeves’ non-stop action and shootouts, for which he even trained a whole three-four months in different techniques like judo and jiu-jitsu, and even rash driving.

“Chad Stahelski, the director. He had a vision of this fight scene on some stairs. It comes at a very traumatic point in the film, so the stakes are very high. We were out there for a bunch of days.
Everyone was just going up and down or rolling or flying down and running up. It was a really cool vision. It was really enjoyable, tough, but really cool for everyone just to come together and try and realized the dream of the sequence.”
In an interview, Keanu Reeves claimed that one of the scariest, and most enjoyable situations were shooting a scene while he was running up 222 steps and fighting off villains at the same time, throwing punches, firing his pistol, and whatnot. He claimed the situation to be a bit tough and yet a very cool scene as everyone was very energetic while filming the scene. Moreover, Reeves claimed that this particular scene was when everyone came together and it turned out to be a very good clip envisioned by the director, Chad Stahelski.
Is It the End for the Boogeyman AKA John Wick
The John Wick franchise has had 4 installations so far and each one of them has surpassed the previous one in terms of fame and fan reactions. Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick franchise said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that it was time for John Wick to take a break.
“In our minds, Keanu and I are done for the moment. We’re going to give John Wick a rest. I’m sure the studio has a plan. If everyone loves it and it goes kooky, then we’ll take a quiet minute”.
Though nothing is set in stone for the future, Wick might be back depending on the circumstances or if a marker calls for his service. The world did not have enough of John Wick is what everyone is thinking right now and Chapter 5 will be one of the most welcomed things if a decision was to be made for another sequel.

The John Wick movies have outdone themselves in terms of box office collection, as the first 3 movies have a total of more than $574 million at the box office after their release worldwide, with an overall budget of $210 million. Though John Wick: Chapter 4 has a massive budget of $100 million, the movie has broken many records set by the previous movies and rumors are speculating that the movie has already broken past the milestone set by John Wick at the box office.
