Anthony Mackie reiterated how one is innocent until proven guilty
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Anthony Mackie is the first prominent celebrity to openly speak on the latest controversial subject, In an interview with Inverse, Mackie did not sugarcoat his words when he gave out a statement saying the following,
“That’s one of the staples of this country. Nothing has been proven about this dude. Nothing. So everyone is innocent until proven guilty. That’s all I can say. It’s crazy where we are as a society. But as a country, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”
Turns out, only Anthony Mackie from the MCU has offered his opinion on the pending case of Jonathan Majors. On August 3, Majors is scheduled to return to court to defend himself. Majors has also filed a complaint of his own against his accuser, alleging that she repeatedly assaulted him.
Jonathan Majors’ future in the MCU
Jonathan Majors, 33, will soon reprise his role as Kang in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which is scheduled to hit theatres in May 2025. The actor can expect to earn a substantial $20 million paycheck, including a back-end bonus. Reportedly the actor has agreed to appear in Avengers: Secret Wars as well.
Disney, which controls Marvel Studios, is reportedly keeping a close eye on Majors’ case and has time to decide before The Kang Dynasty filming starts.
