Although it might be just the habit of making friends or getting to know his husband better, Jennifer Lopez has befriended Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner. As per the reports it was stated that Lopez realized that Jennifer Garner will always be a huge influence on Ben Affleck and thus, she wants to make her an ally rather than an enemy.
In the reports, it is claimed that an insider talked about the whole friendship deal between the two actresses. With their marriage in a not-so-good state, it seems that Jennifer Lopez befriended Garner out of necessity in an effort to potentially save her falling marriage.
“J Lo has come to accept that Jen will always be a huge influence on Ben. Even if they’re not married, he still values Jen’s opinion and respects her. J Lo doesn’t want to fight with Ben anymore. As per the insider, the issue is Ben Affleck’s dressing style and his habit of smoking cigarettes which is constantly nagging his wife.
“He’s a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy and now Jennifer is trying to tell him what he can and can’t wear. She absolutely hates Ben’s cigarettes.”
Although the duo may have had troubles at home, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been the dream couple whenever they make a public appearance. Being obsessed with each other, Lopez recently praised Affleck for his Spanish-speaking skills.

Lopez recently starred in the 2023 movie titled The Mother. The mystery/adventure movie’s premiere saw Ben Affleck and JLo making an appearance together where they were literally obsessed with each other.
“He spent time in Mexico when he was a kid, and so, he loves the culture, and he loves the people, and he loves speaking Spanish. He learned it then, and he’s kind of kept it up his whole life and really loves speaking Spanish,”
She further continued
“I get very self-conscious because I didn’t grow up in Puerto Rico, you know what I mean? I speak Spanish, and I know Spanish. I know Spanish well, but I still get self-conscious – not him!”
