But things changed for the best after he took his daughter to one of Adele’s concerts, who has been body positive for the entirety of her career, as Maya Hawke would find the perfect role model.

Being a father, Ethan Hawke wanted the best for her daughter, and when she was heavily influenced by Adele after attending the concert, Hawke was overjoyed. Although he didn’t hold back while commending the singer’s exceptional vocal skills, the Training Day star was ecstatic after witnessing his daughter idolizing a fuller-figured artist, who embraces her true self. The actor further expressed his joy by stating that he felt like kissing the Easy On Me singer that day. He said,
“We were both floored (impressed by the show). Wow! It was such a great experience. It was a small club, and my daughter had never seen anything like that. And as the father of a 14 year old, I want to kiss Adele. Everybody else is starving to lose another 25 pounds, and it’s just terrible if all we see in that world is people we don’t recognise from our real world.”
Just like her father Ethan Hawke, apart from singing, Maya Hawke has also made a substantial name for herself in the realm of acting, as she is set to lead Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City.
Adele once addressed the issue surrounding her weight loss
The recent years have witnessed Adele losing a substantial amount of weight, as the singer explained that it was a result of her dealing with anxiety, as exercising made her feel good. Although her weight loss did become a topic of discussion, it didn’t bother the Hello singer, as she stated,
“I’m not shocked or even phased by [people’s reactions] because my body has been objectified my entire career. I was body-positive then and I’m body-positive now. It’s not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies… I’m trying to sort my own life out.”
