When Emma Stone described her kiss with Andrew Garfield as ‘icky’

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield first met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man. And since then, rumors about them being in an off-screen relationship surfaced. In fact, even during promotional tours, Stone and Garfield consistently expressed admiration for each other, setting relationship goals for netizens. However, although the couple officially confirmed their relationship, they eventually decided to part ways after a few years of dating.

During her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stone described her kiss with Andrew Garfield as “icky.” While Garfield too had admitted their on-screen kissing scenes to be ‘gross,’ the obvious next question for Stone was if she had a better on-screen kissing experience with Ryan Gosling.

Hence, when the show’s host, Ellen asked her to compare Garfield and Gosling’s kissing skills, Stone diplomatically replied, “Apples and oranges, you know?” When pressed further, she evasively stated, “I love all fruit!”
