Elizabeth Olsen’s comments arrived from her recent appearance on the Awards Chatter podcast. She did a serious dive into her career, including her time playing a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Scarlet Witch reboots in the MCU through Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Olsen said a lot via Scarlet Witch News. She said that the anxious Avenger will own up to her mistakes. The actor shoved back saying Wanda “has no accountability.” These are her full comments:
“I remember people saying at the end of WandaVision, ‘She has no accountability.’ She’s gonna take accountability for herself. She’s gonna isolate, she’s gonna think about it, and she’s gonna grow.”
How Elizabeth Olsen feel about WandaVision?
In a recent interview with GamesRadar+, Olsen said about the events of WandaVision. She said it will still be affecting Wanda during her appearance in Marvel Studios in the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel. Olsen said, “There’s a lot to have learned at the end of that show.” Further added:
“Although she is accountable for Westview and needs to flee, I do think there is part of her that feels some sort of resolve in allowing her destiny to be this mythic woman of the Scarlet Witch.”
It’s remarking that WandaVision creator for Marvel (Matt Shakman), recently revealed that the studio planned an extended confrontation between Wanda and the Westview residents in the finale. The series included a “zombie battle” in which we would see Wanda fight with the people she had imprisoned. However, COVID-19, caused a ditch to minimize the actors’ physical contact with each other. Rather, the show tried to depict Wanda’s guilt and talked over what she had done through WandaVision’s post-credits scene.
If Wanda’s imposed for what happened in WandaVision is coming, it might not possible to carry out in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Instead of feeling guilty for the Maximoff Anomaly, Scarlet Witch points out in a Multiverse of Madness trailer stating that it’s unfair that she’s vilified when she breaks the rules.
The fact that, Doctor Strange is celebrated as a “hero” for doing the same, things are treated partially. Olsen’s comments indicate that Wanda will apologize for her actions in WandaVision. Her misery to find her clones in the multiverse may instead discover Wanda further adopting her dark side in Sam Raimi’s upcoming MCU film. Elizabeth Olsen has also said that a WandaVision fan theory impressed her so much she wanted Marvel bosses to make it canon.
